Our Lifestyle Photography includes babies, kids, families and couples. No matter who the subjects are, our central objectives are the same – to capture their personalities, their natural expressions and body language and any group dynamics on the images. The environment plays a complimentary role to the mood of the image.

Our subjects are encouraged to interact with each other or with their environment while we ready our cameras to document the special moments and expressions. This photojournalistic style of photography is used to capture natural expressions and activities especially in children. Sometimes unobtrusively. Whenever necessary, minimal posing is applied in family group portraits.

The photography session is usually done on-location at a home, backyard, in a park, a beach or anywhere inspirational. We seek to capture “A Day in the Life of ___”, very much like creating a personal pictorial storybook. For example, 5 year old Darryl leading his two year old brother Ashwyn on a garden adventure to seek out a rock collection, Baby Lucas on a crawling quest to check out and ‘taste’ some new toys or three generations of family members at a rare reunion at the park.

In achieving the results that we seek, there is no limit in the number of images that we take in a session. Armed with an 8 frames per second, professional digital SLR camera and with several gigabytes of memory, the possibilities are endless. An image of Baby Lucas breaking into giggles caught in a tickling fest can’t be achieved in a 4-pose sitting at a “Discount Store” Photo Studio. On the other hand, we can capture a series of expressions within a split second! Children do not have only 4 different types of expressions – we should not subject our pictorial memory of them to that.

These events or just a split second moments may not repeat or be documented again. A moment in a the life of an individual, a couple, a family – precious moments and priceless memories captured. This is what we do and we love it!
